Holika Holika Pro:Beauty Cheek Tok blush review...

Why is it Korean make up products have such long winded names...?! Holika Holika recently brought out a whole range of products in their Pro:Beauty line called 'Tok' with the main aim being that they are great for on the go, and easy to use all having built in applicators. There are many lovely lip, eye and cheek products to choose from, but I decided to firstly try the Cheek Tok in the shade PK101 Dream Pink.

As you can see it comes in a lovely petal covered box, and inside is the product- a user friendly tube with screw on lid. You squeeze a little product out and it soaks into the 'cushion' applicator (it is VERY soft!) and apply straight to your cheek. I've had products before like this and find that it squeezes too much product out and I need to reach for a brush, or wipe some off so I don't end up looking like a doll with round pink circles of blush. Fortunately the cheek Tok gives you just the right amount meaning you can use the applicator to easily blend too.

The formula itself contains extracts of 4 different flowers (rose, camellia, azalea, and balsam) which altogether is supposed to provide antioxidants, promote circulation and help with elasticity. Holika Holika say it will make your cheeks "like blooming flower petals". After using this for quite a while I am quite honestly in love! The texture is almost water like, and it melts into your skin giving a lovely sheer wash of glowing colour. Applying with the applicator is so easy, it hardly needs blending at all. So quick and easy to use, I really do recommend it!

I got mine for £6.10 from this ebay seller.

Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel review...

Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel was one of the things I got in my Lush sales haul. The shower gel is a refreshing combination of pink grapefruit, bergamot essential oils, and frankincense essential oils. According to Lush this shower gel is great for the morning and will 'put a zing in your step'. I must admit, although I do like the fragrance I was expecting it to be a lot more in your face, in reality it is quite a subtle scent.

This is the first Lush shower gel I've tried so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I found it a little disappointing in terms of lather (yes, I'm getting technical ;p) I'm not sure if all their shower gels are like this, but it just didn't lather up very well,, boo!

Overall, a nice scent but not something I would repurchase.

A 100g bottle is available here for £3.50.

Tony Moly Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base review...

If there was an award for cutest make up product ever than the Tony Moly Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base would definitely get my vote! Quite frankly this was my initial reason for buying it, along with the fact I'm always on the look out for a good eye base.

There's a few different ways you can use this product, and because of the brightening qualities Tony Moly suggest applying it to dark circles and blemishes. Honestly I found this to have zero effect- I have pretty dark circles, and adding a brightening product only makes the area shiny and brings more attention to them...no thanks!

On the plus side using it as an eyeshadow base is a completely different story. This makes eyeshadows extra pigmented, and creamy. Blending over this is very easy and only a little dab of eyeshadow is needed. I would say it kind of gives a foiled effect *annoyed at self for not including picture of it with eyeshadow.* I must admit if you have smaller eyes like me application is a little tricky (but I will let them off seeing as the packaging is so cute) so it's better to use a brush. I also find this product helps prevent creasing too, which is a thumbs up from me!

I got mine from here for £5.23.

Review: Missha The Style 3D Mascara...

I bought this Missha The Style 3D mascara on impulse when I saw it was on offer for just £2.45. Although I've heard a lot about the brand I've never tried anything by Missha (really need to try one of their hugely popular BB creams...)

The brush is a fairly standard style, which I tend to prefer and is quite narrow which makes applying a lot easier, especially if like me you have fairly small eyes. The formula is nicely thick and non sticky and dries quickly- although it doesn't leave your lashes feeling flaky or stiff.

As you can see from the picture below the effect is fairly good- it's nothing mind blowing but I like it as a good all round every day mascara. It's easy to remove, and doesn't dry my lashes out.

I got mine from this ebay seller.

P.S In case you were wondering that is my messy fringe not some wild brows...!
