My Beauty Diary Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask

My Beauty Diary are a popular Asian band that make all sorts of different sheet masks (a face mask made of material that is soaked in a treatment) with natural ingredients.

Whilst having a relax in the bath I thought I'd give the Chocolate Truffle mask a go. The mask contains "cocoa bean extract from the southern part of Caribbean Sea and very precious truffle
extract from the northern part of Italy" and claims to " sink deep into dry skin and continuously moisturise."

The mask smells divine! It smells of chocolate without being over sweet or sickly, and the mask is really soft. The mask is generously soaked in the liquid (and is best used in the bath because it dripped like mad!) The packaging says to leave on for 20 minutes, but the mask was still soaking wet after that time, so could have been left on for much longer.

The treatment made my skin feel really silky soft, and refreshed, which was nice as this Winter weather has really dried it out. My face looked much brighter too. The downside was the next morning I awoke to 2 big spots on my cheek 0_0 but, on the plus my skin was feeling much softer.

MUA Luxe glitter eye palette in Twilight

Just before Christmas i picked up this MUA glitter eye palette from Superdrug for just £4 as i like to add a bit of glitter to my make up for the festive season. The palette features four shades of fine glitter in a smooth gel.

The colours are the most beautiful shades of purples and pinks and the glitter is impressively dense meaning you get great coverage. There are many ways of using this- washed over the lids, mixed together (I've even tried it over my lipstick), but my favourite way to wear it was to push the gel on over my black eyeliner with an angled brush. It gave a dense sparkly liner that lasted well all day.

For just £4 it was well worth the money, and I've already had a lot of use out of it :)

NOTD: Kate Spade by Nails Inc Big Apple Red

I never usually buy Glamour magazine, but when i saw they had free Nails Inc nail polishes for £2 i couldn't resist the bargain. The colour i chose was Big Apple Red, which is a lovely almost rosy red. I love red nails any time of the year but they especially look good around Christmas time ◠‿◠

My only one moan about this is that it chipped really quicky, but for £2 i'm not so bothered.
